Hello, my name is Alex and I am a mother to a little girl. I have 11 years of independent experience as a portrait photographer. I adore the natural light and outdoor environment, which means that most of my work is done in nature at golden hours. If you feel nervous in front of the camera don't worry everyone does, but through my lens, I see only beauty and uniqueness and I will be happy to prove it to you if you let me.
I live in a small village called Ruyton XI Towns which is located between Oswestry and Shrewsbury. We have many beautiful places around here for the perfect natural outdoor photoshoot. I am also happy to travel to your chosen area with the addition of travel expenses.

If you fill up the form below I will get back to you within 1-3 days and we will chat about your needs and expectations. We will choose a day and location according to your needs and you can make a booking by paying a non-refundable deposit of £50 which is already included in the package price. After that, I will help you to prepare for your session.
I am very flexible and can adjust to your needs however the best light for outdoor photography is early morning, late afternoon, golden hour sunset or any time when the weather is cloudy. Straight sun makes very hard light which will ruin your images, although there are still ways to make it work if there is no other option.
I have a guide which can help you to choose the right outfit for the photoshoot. But it will depend on what type of images you’re looking for. We will decide together by looking at references and I will give my opinion on what will work best. However, I strongly recommend wearing comfortable shoes and taking another pair for the session with you as sometimes it can take a 10-15 minute walk to some beautiful locations.

No worries! I have a daughter who has always been very sensitive! I try to make the environment as friendly as possible. No formal poses or fake smiles. My session is a free safe space for families to spend time together by chatting, walking, playing games and even having snacks. I’m very flexible and always go with the flow.
I know UK weather is completely unpredictable! Trust me a bit of rain will only make pictures more genuine and unique but if you worry about getting wet I’m very flexible to reschedule without any additional fees for any other available day.
You will receive a link to a private gallery where you can choose your favourites and easily download them. You can also buy extra images or order prints for additional costs. The gallery stays accessible for 4 weeks.
Usually, I use my work to advertise my business and fill out my portfolio, but if you want a private session that's absolutely fine, we will discuss all your needs after you make a booking.
To choose the right photographer you need to look carefully at their work and decide if their style is for you. Please make sure to view my Instagram or Facebook where I post most of the images from my sessions. I work with natural light and outdoor environments, I love candid moments and lifestyle images. Seeing connections, and genuine emotions and being able to capture them is an absolute treasure for me. I run my sessions in the forest, fields, hills and ruins. I also do sessions in the garden or the house as long as you have enough space and light inside.
I do. If it's within 25 minutes of my village I don't charge an extra fee. We have many beautiful places in this area, however, if you are interested in something different I am open to discussion, please get in touch!
